aDeNu is led by Prof. Jesús G. Boticario and has academics and researchers from various disciplines and fields of knowledge, such as Olga C. Santos and Alejandro Rodríguez-Ascaso and Ana Serrano Mamolar, from telecommunications engineering; Emmanuelle Gutiérrez y  Restrepo, from the communication sciences; Mar Saneiro Silva, Raúl Cabestrero Alonso and Pilar Quirós Expósito, from the field of psychology; Antonio Rodríguez Anaya, from computer science. We are a cross-disciplinary research group which includes academic collaborators that are part-based in aDeNu, post-doctoral researchers, research assistants and PhD students from the School of Computing and other schools and institutes across UNED. We are also always open to visiting professors and visiting researchers.

Antonio Rodríguez Anaya

Lecturer

He is Bachelor of Astrophysics, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, since 1999. He got the Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence in UNED (National University of Distance Education of Spain) in 2009. He works as Assistant Professor since 2014 until now.

Pilar Quiros Expósito

Associate Professor

Associate Professor at the Basic Psychology II Department of UNED. Her research has always been linked to the study of emotion, cardiovascular reactivity and basic psychological processes. Specifically, her work has been developed in the laboratory of Motivation and Emotion of the department, working essentially with the visceral-perception to analyse the influence of breathing rate on the cardiovascular reactivity.

Associate Professor

Associate Professor at the Basic Psychology II Department of UNED. Member of several local and international scientific associations in the realm of cognition, neurosciences and eye-movements.

Ana Serrano Mamolar

Research Assistant

She has got the Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in 2020. She got the Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition and Digital Imaging from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2012.

Alejandro Rodríguez Ascaso

Lecturer

Alejandro Rodríguez Ascaso is a lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), the Spanish National University of Distance Education. His teaching and research activities have to do with User-Centered Design Methodologies, accessibility and user experience in eLearning and in Telecare. He is has participated in National and International research projects and standardization activities.
