Group A: 31st May (Sunday) – 8th August 2026 (Saturday)Group B: 14th June (Sunday) – 22nd August 2026 (Saturday) The ICV Trail Team programme is organised by the Nature Conservation Agency of Iceland (Náttúruverndarstofnun). Trail Teams take care of a wide variety of nature protection tasks and natural trail maintenance projects throughout the country’s national parks and nature reserves, often staying in camps within these areas. Volunteers are divided in small teams and travel between sites to complete a series of practical projects. The programme runs for 10 weeks and the teams usually spend one or two weeks in each location. No previous experience in this field is necessary as all training will be provided; however, enthusiasm and team spirit are essential.
