Funded project: funded by Banco Santander and UNED
This project aims to continue a study initiated in Spain on March 6, 2020 (one week before the start of the State of Alarm by COVID-19) from the UNED, to identify psychological variables and cognitive conflicts that facilitate or hinder the acquisition and maintenance of healthy habits in people interested in improving their health habits. The study was conducted during the situation of confinement and state of alarm, with an initial sample of 400 subjects, and the aim is to obtain a similar sample to replicate the study in a situation outside the state of alarm. For this purpose, a sample of Spanish volunteers willing to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits will be recruited. These volunteers will be monitored, in a similar way as during the state of confinement and state of alarm, for three months in their personal evolution, in the acquisition of 12 dietary and physical activity tips from the WHO document (2004). Along with the initial data recording of demographic and psychological variables, participants will record their diet, physical activity, exercise and hours of sleep, among other variables.
