The Spanish State Research Agency (AEI), within its announcement for strategic R+D+I projects on the ecological and digital transition, has granted the project led by the “European Climate Law” team. The project, named “ADAPTAR: ADAPtation and climaTe-disPlaced people: Actions for their pRotection” (Ref. TED2021-130570B-100), is to be executed as a research project within the framework of the State Plans for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, during 2 years from 1st of December 2022. The proposal was awarded a scientific-technical grade of 89.1 (out of 100) by the AEI and was granted 100% of the budget requested.
The research and work teams have already started working on the project and fieldwork is expected to start in the first semester of 2023.
