Ángel Gómez Jiménez
ÁNGEL GÓMEZ JIMÉNEZ

Ángel Gómez is a Professor in the Department of Social Psychology and Organizations at UNED and Director of the IDENFUSION Research Group. Since 2022, he has led MULTIPREV, an ERC Advanced project. His research interests include identity fusion and the underlying mechanisms related to violent radicalization and deradicalization..

Alexandra Vázquez Botana
ALEXANDRA VÁZQUEZ BOTANA

Alexandra Vázquez Botana is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Psychology and Organizations at UNED. She holds a degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid and received her PhD in 2012 from UNED. Her research interests focus on intergroup and intragroup relations, identity fusion, and collective action.

Sandra Chiclana de la Fuente
SANDRA CHICLANA DE LA FUENTE

Sandra Chiclana, PhD in Psychology (2020), is the Head of Services at the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions of the Ministry of the Interior and an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Psychology and Organizations at UNED. Her current research focuses on interpersonal violence, radicalization, hate crimes, and female inmates.

Juana Chinchilla Calero
JUANA CHINCHILLA CALERO

Juana Chinchilla studied psychology at UNED, specializing in Research Methods in Social Psychology, and received her PhD in 2022. Since 2024, she has been an assistant professor at UNED. Her research interests include the interaction between identity fusion and morality.

Celia Serrano Montilla
CELIA SERRANO MONTILLA

Celia Serrano-Montilla is an assistant professor in the Department of Methodology at UNED. She received her PhD in 2022 from the University of Granada. Her research broadly focuses on psychometrics, the development and adaptation of tests, and violence against women. She is interested in current methodological trends in analysis, assessment, and evaluation applied to the study of social issues.

Laura Rodríguez Gómez
LAURA RODRÍGUEZ GÓMEZ

Laura Rodríguez-Gómez is a postdoctoral researcher on the MULTIPREV project. She received her PhD in Psychology in 2023 from the University of La Laguna. Her research interests focus on dehumanization bias, morality, and the influence of the physical environment, emotional expression, and social networks on social cognition.

Hend Bautista Carrasco
HEND BAUTISTA CARRASCO

Hend Bautista is a Research Assistant and a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Psychology and Organizations at UNED. She received her Master’s in Research in Psychology from UNED in 2021 and has been collaborating for years on intercultural and interreligious projects with the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue (AUDIR).

Laura Blanco Iglesias
LAURA BLANCO IGLESIAS

Laura Blanco is a Research Assistant on the MULTIPREV project. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2019, specializing in Forensic and Penitentiary Psychology. She holds a Master’s in Methodology Applied to Health and Behavioral Sciences from UNED and is currently completing her PhD at the same university.

Beatriz Alba Langreo
BEATRIZ ALBA LANGREO

Beatriz Alba Langreo is a Research Assistant on the MULTIPREV project. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2018, where she subsequently specialized in analysis and research in the criminal field. She then completed a Master’s in Research in Psychology with a specialization in Social Psychology at UNED. She is currently finishing her PhD studies at UNED.

Naroa Carrasco Sánchez
NAROA CARRASCO SÁNCHEZ

Naroa Carrasco is a Research Assistant, holding a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Legal and Forensic Psychology from the University of Granada. She is currently pursuing her PhD at UNED. She has participated in research projects for the Ministry of the Interior, Penitentiary Institutions, and UNED on topics such as gender-based violence, violent radicalization, filicide, and femicide.

Irene Barón Picazo
IRENE BARÓN PICAZO

Irene Barón es is a Research Assistant on the MULTIPREV project. She holds a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, has a Master’s in Legal and Forensic Psychology, and is a PhD candidate. She has participated in research projects for UNED, the Ministry of the Interior, and Penitentiary Institutions on topics such as gender-based violence, femicide, violent radicalization, and filicide.

Jaime Muñoz Vilches
JAIME MUÑOZ VILCHES

Jaime Muñoz is a Research Assistant on the FUSIONFORM project and a collaborator on MULTIPREV. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he later specialized in Psychological Intervention in Crisis and Emergency Situations. He has experience in social intervention and Penitentiary Institutions, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Research in Social Psychology at UNED.

Sara Rodríguez Fregenal
SARA RODRÍGUEZ FREGENAL

Sara Rodríguez Fregenal is a PhD student at UNED. She graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2020 and later completed a Master’s in Mediation, Negotiation, and Conflict Resolution at Carlos III University of Madrid in 2022. She specializes in intercultural mediation. Her research interests focus on group dynamics, migration, and conflict management.

Borja Paredes  is a professor of Social Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. His research mainly focuses on three areas: persuasion and attitude change, different forms of social and personal identities, and extreme pro-group behavior.

Lucía López-Rodríguez
LUCÍA LÓPEZ-RODRÍGUEZ

Lucía López-Rodríguez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Almería, where she received her PhD in 2013. Her research interests focus on the underlying psychosocial processes that improve intergroup relations and the factors that facilitate or hinder social change and extreme behaviors.

Mercedes Martínez is an assistant professor at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. She graduated in Psychology and Social Education from UNED and received her PhD in 2022. Her research interests focus on intergroup and intragroup relations, identity fusion, and emotions.
