UM-Flint English students bring Shakespeare into 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary Jo Kietzman, member of SHAKREL, helps her students at UM-Flint students to write plays inspired by Titus Andronicus<\/em>, Henry IV<\/em>, Hamlet<\/em>, Twelfth Night<\/em>, and the Winter\u2019s Tale<\/em> that featured young people using all their strength, insight, and originality to stop violence, to mend divides between rich and poor, and to act mercifully when elders ask for forgiveness; Kietzman shows that her students’ theatrical adaptation of Shakespeare encouraged reflection on different ways of understanding spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n

UM-Flint English students bring Shakespeare into 2025 Mary Jo Kietzman, member of SHAKREL, helps her students at UM-Flint students to write plays inspired by Titus Andronicus, Henry IV, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, and the Winter\u2019s Tale that featured young people using all their strength, insight, and originality to stop violence, to mend divides between rich and poor, and to act mercifully when elders ask for forgiveness; Kietzman shows that her students’ theatrical adaptation of Shakespeare encouraged reflection on different ways of understanding spirituality.
