Hence, there are things that raise philosophically interesting questions about their status of aesthetic objects. The universe is one such thing. I will consider a series of skeptical objections to the possibility of the aesthetic appreciation of the universe. I will argue that one can face them provided that one commits oneself to a set of background assumptions about aesthetic appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Bio<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/enriterr.weebly.com\/\">Enrico Terrone<\/a> is Professor of Aesthetics at Universit\u00e0 di Genova (Dipartimento di Antichit\u00e0, Filosofia e Storia &#8211; DAFIST). He has a degree in Electronic Engineering (Politecnico di Torino) and a PhD in Philosophy (Universit\u00e0 di Torino).
