{"id":475,"date":"2022-11-24T12:31:55","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T12:31:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uned.es\/lhfc\/?p=475"},"modified":"2022-11-24T12:31:56","modified_gmt":"2022-11-24T12:31:56","slug":"call-for-expressions-of-interest-phd-in-normativity-in-the-biological-and-medical-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uned.es\/lhfc\/2022\/11\/24\/call-for-expressions-of-interest-phd-in-normativity-in-the-biological-and-medical-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for expressions of interest: PhD in normativity in the biological and medical sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Spanish Ministry for Science and Innovation is about to publish a call for pre-doctoral scholarships (FPI) adhered to scientific projects that have been approved for funding this year.<br><br>The research group NORMABIOMED (project number APID2021-128835NB-I00), based at the Department of Logic, History, and Philosophy of Science of UNED (Madrid), invites applicants interested in questions related to <strong>normativity in the biological and medical sciences<\/strong> to express their interest in applying for one of these fellowships.<br><br>The selected applicant will work on the topic of normativity (broadly conceived) in one of the following areas:<br><br>&#8211; Philosophy of Medicine<br>&#8211; Philosophy of Biology<br>&#8211; Philosophy of Animal Minds<br><br>The candidate will be supervised by Cristian Saborido, Alba Amilburu, V\u00edctor Luque, or Susana Mons\u00f3, depending on the topic.<br><br>To express interest in this position, please email your CV, a letter of motivation, and a brief writing sample to the PI, Cristian Saborido (cristian.saborido@fsof.uned.es), by <strong>December 15th 2022<\/strong>.<br><br>Please note that this is not a formal selection process, and that the interested parties will have to submit an official application through the website of the Spanish Ministry for Science and Innovation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Spanish Ministry for Science and Innovation is about to publish a call for pre-doctoral scholarships (FPI) adhered to scientific projects that have been approved for funding this year.
