es una iniciativa de GIDEMIG desarollada por nuestro experto en an\u00e1lisis de datos y t\u00e9cnicas cliodin\u00e1micas, <strong>Carlos Kuzmanic.<\/strong> Su objetivo es comprender el <strong>desarrollo postimperial del mundo ib\u00e9rico global a partir del an\u00e1lisis cuantitativo de la correlaci\u00f3n entre diversas variables<\/strong>, como la <strong>configuraci\u00f3n territorial<\/strong> de sus pa\u00edses, el <strong>n\u00famero y la escala de las guerras<\/strong> en que se vieron inmersos y la <strong>cohesi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de las \u00e9lites<\/strong> ejercicio que analiza los factores que determinaron la <strong>evoluci\u00f3n territorial en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong> tras el fin del dominio espa\u00f1ol y portugu\u00e9s, centr\u00e1ndose en el periodo entre <strong>1834 y 1899<\/strong>. El estudio utiliza datos geoespaciales y demogr\u00e1ficos para establecer\u00a0<strong>correlaciones estad\u00edsticas<\/strong>\u00a0entre los cambios de fronteras y variables como los\u00a0<strong>conflictos b\u00e9licos<\/strong>, la econom\u00eda y el tipo de r\u00e9gimen pol\u00edtico. Los hallazgos preliminares revelan una\u00a0<strong>fuerte relaci\u00f3n positiva<\/strong> entre la participaci\u00f3n en guerras y las alteraciones en la superficie de los pa\u00edses, destacando adem\u00e1s que loa pa\u00edses<strong> con gobiernos regidos por figuras militares<\/strong>\u00a0mostraron una mayor tendencia a involucrarse en combates. Asimismo, los datos sugieren que el\u00a0<strong>crecimiento poblacional y del PIB<\/strong>\u00a0son indicadores clave para explicar la expansi\u00f3n o contracci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea de un Estado. El proyecto planea profundizar estos resultados mediante el uso de\u00a0<strong>regresiones avanzadas<\/strong> e incorporando nuevas m\u00e9tricas sobre migraci\u00f3n y marcos constitucionales.
